J C2022-07-03It's been a few weeks since Jaime and team installed a new AC unit & Furnace, and everything is working great. I had originally contacted a big chain to check my AC and they said that everything seemed okay, but when the temperature was 100° and my house was at 80° it was obvious something was wrong. I gave Northlake Heating and Cooling a call, and Jaime came out in a matter of hours. He took a detailed look at the AC unit and furnace and diagnosed the issue in about half an hour. There was an issue with the condenser and I was given an option of replacing that (on a unit that was ~20 years old) or getting a new system installed. Ultimately, the price I was quoted for a new system was very reasonable and I decided to go with that. After 2 days (!) Jaime and team came to install a new AC and furnace, and they were very professional and respectful throughout. It took them about 8 hours in total to complete the install. They also moved the electrical box up to allow for easier service. I am very pleased with the quality of service and would recommend them to anyone. I've attached pictures of the old furnace and new AC unit. 5/5

Jamie went up and above and set the new unit up so I don’t have to climb into the attic to change my filter. I can not say enough about this company. They are extremely Courteous and Professional. You can’t go wrong with these guys!!

Mark H.Furnace stopped working after I replaced the batteries in the thermostat. Jaime came over at the agreed time and date. Within 10 minutes he determined the power lead in the thermostat was not properly connected. He tightened the connection and the furnace resumed function. Very courteous and friendly. We had a good time about the issue because I installed that thermostat. It worked until I pulled off the cover to replace the batteries. Hiring them again for a complete HVAC health report.

They're pricing was fair and competitive and their service was top-notch. The details: I needed to install full HVAC in a mother-in-law unit, including ductwork, central a/c, and furnace. Northlake was recommended to me by a friend of a friend. They were one of 5 estimates I got, and of all the companies that came through to give me a quote they were by far the most professional and detailed. Jamie mapped out the proper placement for all of the equipment, walked me through what he was going to do and why, and he worked with me on the price to make sure it was fair and competitive. Jamie and his crew stuck to the schedule like clockwork. When I came home after the first day they were working, I was amazed at how much work they had gotten done, and even more so at how clean and tidy the space was. They were tearing open drywall and putting in ductwork so you know it got very messy, but they covered all of my furniture and picked up afterwards. I didnt see a speck of drywall dust or a single piece of garbage. All of their equipment was neatly packed in a corner at all times. I just wrote Jamie the check for final payment as they're finishing up the last step of charging the AC. He walked me through the unit and the work they'd done, which was exactly as we had discussed in the beginning. This was a big job but I'm so impressed at how easy and seamless these guys made it look. I will be going back to Northlake for all of HVAC maintenance and upgrades in the future!

J T.Overall very satisfied with the service Northlake provides. They have always came out the same day of the call, once at 830 pm to make sure my parents house had proper heat for the cold Chicago night. Jaime came out, figured out the problem and fixed it on the spot, half an hour later the boiler was at full capacity again. Not everyone will come out on a cold night that late, most will come back the next day or not answer the phone all together. Northlake called back with an estimated time of arrival and fixed the problem the same day. I will recommend Northlake to anyone looking for an hvac professional.
